STALLIONS Our own, and those to which we breed our mares...
C-MY Brother Ray (Ryegate Major x SSM Bessie Nekomia) 2007 bay colt Ray is the last foal sired by the beloved Lippitt stallion Ryegate Major
in 2006, just a year before Major's death; he's also a grandson of Quietude Westward through his dam. He shows every sign
of developing the same solid bone structure and gentle yet confident disposition that his celebrated sire was known for. Ray
is a big boy for a Lippitt, and we expect he will top out around 15hh. We think Ray has considerable potential as a breeding
stallion, so we have decided not to geld him. It is our hope to breed him for the first time in 2012.
Ray's pedigree can be seen here.

BAYSIDE RAINMAN
(Ryegate Billy Moro x
Woodstock Joan)
1993 dark bay stallion
We chose Bayside Rainman (owned by Sandra Nason Sewell
of New Brunswick) as the sire of our first Holy Moly foal. Although "Dusty" is an accomplished athlete who won the
Justin Morgan Standard Class and other honors, he had sired only one foal at that time—a colt, Shadowmere Maximus, who
sadly did not survive more than a few months. Not wanting to see this handsome son of Ryegate Billy Moro fail to pass on his
classic conformation and gentle disposition, we bred Dusty to our two mares, Ryegate Magi Moro and Holy Moly Meadow Mist,
for 2008 foals. Unfortunately, Maggie's pregnancy was terminated due to an infection, and we lost Mist's filly to a tragic
accident—but Holy Moly Poseidon, our 2009 foal out of SSM Bessie Nekomia, grew into a big-boned, handsome young stallion.
We sold Poseidon as a 2-year-old stallion to a breeder, thus enabling him to continue his father's line; it is my hope that
someday one of "Pete's" offspring will come to Holy Moly Farm to restore those wonderful genes to our herd.
