Stevie had his first show of the season last Sunday. It didn't start well - he was uptight and jumpy in his warm-up class, whinnying to all and sundry during his time in the ring and once nearly stopping - oy! He was obviously distracted and lacking in focus, which was all very well and good for this class (he was only entered to get him back into the swing of things) but boded ill for the class we were really focusing on, the Sr. Training 1 canter class an hour later. I need not have worried, though. As much as his first performance stank (he took 6th), his second performance shone (he took 1st).

As a side note, I'm not writing on the blog as often these days because I spend much more of my time on Facebook. Holy Moly Farm does have a Facebook page, and I put most photos and updates there instead of here now. I hope you'll find the farm and become a fan!
