I can't believe it: Bessie and Ray are coming in just a few days! It's going to be an eternity. Mark and I are already trying to figure out which horses are going to be pastured where, and there is some fairly significant fence-building that needs to happen over the weekend. We've made a start on the fences, but we have our work cut out for us!

You probably weren't around to see the earliest version of this site, but it was ugly. Like I say below, we're new at this and I hadn't worked out many of the bugs... including the fact that the site builder I'm using works SO much better if you open it in FireFox than if you open it in Safari, which is my default browser. But now I've gotten it past its ugly phase and it's much better. Including pictures. But I have work to do that's not getting done while I fiddle with my site, so... sayonara for now.

So now I guess it's official: I have a web site, and that makes me a Real Honest To God Horse Breeder. Well, actually I suppose the fact that I've bred horses (Mist to Bayside Rainman, in foal for May '08) makes me a horse breeder, but somehow having a web site makes in more real. More later, I have work to do on this site.
